Teleingreso

Interesting offline payment method:
http://www.teleingreso.com/

I get so lost with these kind of payments, specially when I start to wonder about fees and privacy terms.
Anyway, this method looks similar to halcash which is a quite popular payment method for spanish localbitcoins traders. It’s the net that uses a very successful bitcoin-fiat transmitter www.bit2me.com. You send your bitcoins to a direction, get an SMS and smartphone app code, and then you go to any ATM machine with halcash and get cash with these codes.
If SEPA works as it is now, I wouldn’t worry about alternatives, but it’s good to have them in mind just in case.

Yes more privacy protecting methods would be good to have. Halcash is based on the mobile phone registration. Teleingreso seems to be more local and might be more private.

Halcash is as private as a banking account. Zero. As we do with SEPA, it’s difficult to track what you’re buying with that transaction. If you want privacy you should only use a currency that works in a P2P manner, cryptographically protected.
If only someone invented something like that!!!
