# Bisq DAO Cycle 9

The Bisq DAO Cycle 9 voting phase is about to start.

The schedule for this cycle is:

- proposal phase ends at block 612 786 (just a few hours from the time of this post)
- voting takes place between blocks 612 937 and 613 386
- vote reveal takes place between blocks 613 397 and 613 846
- vote results are known shortly afterward, and next proposal phase opens

Each of these phases will be announced as new comments in this thread. Follow this thread so you don’t miss the announcements.

**Outstanding Proposals**

Aside from compensation requests, these are the proposals up for voting:

_Generic proposals_

List new Confidential Asset L-BTC pegged 1:1 to BTC on Liquid ([link](https://github.com/bisq-network/proposals/issues/169))

Require DAO vote and application fee to add new crypto assets, and call DAO vote to keep or remove currently listed crypto assets ([link](https://github.com/bisq-network/proposals/issues/159))

Put asset listing on hold ([link](https://github.com/bisq-network/proposals/issues/166))

Encourage use of bonded reputation ([link](https://github.com/bisq-network/proposals/issues/138))

_Parameter change_

Increase max BSQ issuance ([link](https://github.com/bisq-network/proposals/issues/160))

_Proposal for removing assets_

Several proposals are outstanding to remove assets. **Note that once assets are removed through DAO voting, they cannot be added back.**

Blind voting is in progress. Just about 300 blocks left to cast your votes.

Vote reveal phase is in progress. Just about 400 blocks left to make sure your Bisq node goes online to publish the vote reveal transaction.
