There’s a big spanish ATM-like company called Bit2me. They won’t like it. ---

> [@marc](#): > > Bitskware Unfortunately that will be from legal side not accepted. The sound of the name is crucial, anything which sounds like “Square” is a no-go ;-( ---

Wow, thanks a lot guys for such active contribution on the first day!!! Needless to say that we love the name Bitsquare as well and it’s a pain that we need to change our brand. But on the other side it is a great opportunity to get a even better brand name defined in a crowd-creative process. Sorry for the issues with the forum registration, the email service used for the forum had issues today. It should be resolved now and hopefully registration is working again. Our webmaster will look into it tomorrow. ---

I respect the project and the existing name but if you must choose one that is free under some jurisdiction, then you should check with them. There’s also the issue of getting a domain name, twitter, and other accounts. The founder named it before so he should be the one to rename it. My entry: Swap or: Trade ---

The first popular crypto exchange had the ‘gox’ part in it. Despite of the current negative association of ‘did you get goxed’ it does hold value. The new Bitsquare changes its perception around. The unit peer exchange is the tor to ungox. brand name suggestion: **ungox** ---
