# Buyer used BIC code as payment reference instead of using the reference of the trade

I’m selling some bitcoins and the buyer has make this mistake in his SEPA payment. Everything else seems fine. ¿Should I open a dispute?

Please do open a dispute. Even if you’re OK with accepting the payment, going through the dispute process will serve to educate the buyer about their mistake, and thus prevent them from making it in the future with other sellers. Thanks.
