I’ve been using Bisq fine with no problems on windows desktop, but today the app crashed and then didn’t show on desktop or if I search for Bisq from the taskbar. If I open the .exe it gives me the option to ‘repair’ installation, if I do this Bisq app appears again in the search bar but doesn’t open when I click it, and if I then close and go back to the search it again can’t be found.
Can anyone give me any idea what has happened or how to either fix it or access funds?
That sounds strange.
The Bisq application files in windows are found in: %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Bisq\
The Bisq data directory files in windows are found in: %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\Bisq\
Do you have antivirus running, I wonder if it quarantines / deleted the Bisq application?
Can you see the above files? Replace %USERPROFILE% with your user profile name for Windows

I should have thought to check anti-virus. Yes Windows security quarantined various files, I’ve restored them and it seems to be working
No idea why it just decided to do that now and without even telling me it was doing anything
