# Detected Trojan while installing BISQ

We’ve seen a couple reports from virus checkers like this before. Everything has been a false positive so far. See [Norton finds the bisq install a security threat](https://bisq.community/t/norton-finds-the-bisq-install-a-security-threat/2774) and [Kaspersky recently recognized all the DLLs and exes in Bit square as trojans](https://bisq.community/t/kaspersky-recently-recognized-all-the-dlls-and-exes-in-bit-square-as-trojans/1283/9).

To be safe, make sure you verify your Bisq downloads against our checksums.
