# Growth: Starting a market in Ghana

Hello, Im trying to start a market in Ghana, however, there is no payment method that allows for transfers of the local currrency (Ghanaian Cedis - GHS). The most common payment method here is mobile money, mainly through MTN (the local mobile carrier). Would it be possible to add this feature as a way to send and receive local currency? Thanks

Right now, you have the following methods that should work:

- Cash Deposit
- National bank transfer
- Transfer with the same bank
- Transfer with specific bank

A quick search of Ghana’s MTN lead me to [this document](https://mtn.com.gh/docs/default-source/Terms-Conditions/momo-terms-conditions-april-2018.doc?sfvrsn=2) and more specifically point “ **18. Money Transfer Reversals** ”. From my layman understanding, it seems like this payment method could be listed in the future.

@Emocoy how would you prove that you sent GHS through MTN to someone else?
