# IPV6 tips and problems

Would I have any problems if I run bisq on a machine that only has an IPV6 address?

I am not sure anyone tried that before, so be sure to let us know if you try.

I have my doubts it would be able to connect though. First of all Tor would need to work over IPv6 and I don’t think there are many Tor relays that run over IPv6, but maybe you could connect to the network.  
I am pretty sure that if you could connect to the Tor network, you would still be alone on the Bisq network and have no available arbitrators, but I haven’t tried this of course, so I would really like to know as well.

Bisq runs via Tor hidden services so there should not be any issues.
