# Mandatory PIVX update

hello,

it is time again to do a mandatory update for PIVX, please use the following information to build the latest source.

git clone [https://github.com/PIVX-Project/PIVX.git](https://github.com/PIVX-Project/PIVX.git)

git checkout v3.0.0

you MUST add this line to your pivx.conf file

’ enablezeromint=0 ’

If you can’t complete the update by the 13th, please place PIVX in maintenance until the update has been completed. If the update isn’t completed by October 13th, the non-updated wallets WILL fork.
