# Mediation stalled - Seller not accepting payout suggestion (Trade ID: xlaf4p)

Hello everyone,

I am opening this topic because my mediation is stalled and I need some help or advice from the community / mediators.

**Trade details:**

- Trade ID: **xlaf4p**

- Mediator: **luis3672**

- I am the **buyer** (fiat → BTC via PIX)

**What happened:**  
When I tried to send the PIX payment, my bank (official app) showed a clear security warning: **“o destinatário já foi denunciado como suspeita de golpe”** (the recipient has already been reported as suspected of scam/fraud).

I took several screenshots showing this official bank alert, did **not** send any fiat, and immediately opened mediation. I provided all the screenshots and explained the situation in detail to the mediator.

**Mediator’s suggestion:**  
The mediator proposed the following payout:

- I (buyer) receive: **0.0015 BTC** (my full security deposit)

- Seller receives: **0.0065 BTC** (the trade amount)

I accepted the suggestion **immediately** and informed the mediator right away.

**Current situation:**  
It has now been almost **48 hours** (actually more) since I accepted, but the seller still has **not accepted** the payout suggestion.

I have sent polite follow-up messages to the mediator (luis3672) explaining that I only want my security deposit back and prefer to avoid arbitration. He has not replied to the latest messages.

I really just want to recover my 0.0015 BTC security deposit and close this trade. I do **not** want to go to arbitration on February 26th, because under the Burning Men Protocol only one security deposit is paid out and the other is lost.

Is there anything else I can do to move this forward?  
Can any other mediator or staff member help push the seller to accept the proposal?

I just replied to your DM and I see this message as well… if the peer is not responsive, moving to arbitration is a forced option for you
