# Message Address Format incorrect

I attempted to withdraw BTC today to my external Exodus address and received error message saying the address format in incorrect. Since I copied and pasted it, i’m not sure what else i can do. please advise.

Were you sending to a bech32 address? So an address that starts with bc1. If so, that would explain the error. Legacy addresses (starts with a 1) , which is what Bisq uses cannot send to bech32 addresses.
