# Minimum install of bisq

What are the minimum bisq components that need to be installed on a node to make bisq run without GUI?

Is there a guide, or can someone at least point me in the right direction please?

I am not sure, but compiling from source should work.

I am not that familiar with Java applications in general, but maybe having JRE should be all you need to run Bisq, with or without GUI.
