# Mobile notifications

Hi,

I can’t sync bisq1 1.10.1 for debian with the mobile app bisq notifications for android, in order to see alerts on my phone when an offer is picked up.

The steps from the wiki ( [Bisq Mobile](https://docs.bisq.network/bisq-mobile) ) suggest an option for desktops without access to a webcam, but in the version for debian this doesn’t seem to exist. Nothing happens when the token generated by the mobile app and is pasted to the corresponding field in the desktop app (the wiki says that once pairing is complete, the app should proceed to the next page).

Is there something I’m not doing right, or is it just a bug in the debian app?

have you tried setting up a very broad alert event on desktop, like an offer for a high martkup, that is likely to trigger whenever any new offer is posted, to check whether you receive a notification on mobile?
