# New Trader

To start a trade on bisq I need to make a safety deposit of bitcoin. The issue is I still haven’t bought any coin to the wallet and when I try to make a trade it doesn’t let me. Is there a way I can make a cash security deposit? I don’t have any other ways of getting bitcoin into this wallet because I don’t want to use my ID.

Sorry, but no.  
You have to find a way to get a few BTC to start the whole thing.
