# Offer deactivated: Fee receiver not a recognised address

Offer deactivated: Fee receiver not a recognised address

Offers keep deactivating because of this.

Can someone please tell me what this means?

Thank you, but I never entered any address anywhere.

I just created an offer, it was posted live 24 hours ago.

Deactivation only happened 4 hours ago. In the meantime the offer was live.

I’m having the same issue. seems to have happened on the platform end around 48 hours ago. I few of my offers to sell work the rest are all now deactivated with the error above. How does one contact support?

Ignore the AI bot replies which I just deleted, this is a known issue to which the solutions are:

- if it happens during an open trade, you can effectively ignore it
- if it is about an offer that gets disabled, you can post a reimbursement request at [Issues · bisq-network/support · GitHub](https://github.com/bisq-network/support/issues)

in any case, this specific issue appears now contained

yes, it happens during an open trade. I can;t ignore it as it keeps deactivating the trade when I enable it again (10 secs).. Should I just cancel the offers? I have never had this happen before. seems to be related to v1.10.4. thanks

what you describe appears to be an offer, not a trade

trades happen when an offer is taken and the buyer is expected to make the payment

since your offers are being disabled, you should follow the second bullet of my previous reply

You probably don’t need to cancel them, but yeah the repeated disable/re-enable cycle sounds annoying. If it’s a known issue being looked at, might be worth just leaving them disabled for now rather than fighting with it every 10 secs. Saves the frustration and the offers will still be there once it’s sorted on their end.

those offers do in fact need to be canceled, I expect that even if a taker managed to take those in the very short timeframe they might be published for, the trade would fail because the fee receiver address of the maker is not recognized.

ok, those are all open issues, I expect they will be addressed by the reimbursement agent at the next round
