# Pay for a house in bitcoin

My friend owns 600 bitcoins and she wants to buy a house with the money. The builder will only take USD. She is a US citizen and has a bank account at Bank of America. The closing is July 30th.

I am new to this and would like your suggestions on how to proceed. Please help me.

Hi 🙂 She can sell some on Bisq but every transaction on Bisq’s decentralized exchange network is limited by 0.5 BTC. In general it depends, where dose she live? Going to a local exchange is a good option.
