# Reason for payment totally missing in IBAN transfer

Hello, i f you receive fiat via IBAN and there is no ‘reason for payment’ mentioned at all, what is the best way to react?

I am lenient when it comes to this. Must happen for 10-20% of my trades. Generally if I can match the name, IBAN and trade amount I am happy.

The hard part is when someone has taken multiple offers from you. I am a little more wary then as I do not want to end up with a disputed trade in mediation.

I would open mediation as filling the payment reason is part of the trading protocol.  
At least this way mediators will be aware of it.
