# \[Resolved\] Password use

UBUNTU 18.04.1 LTS (64-bit)  
bisq 0.8.0

when I open bisq it works with no need to enter password  
I have set password but when i start bisq it don’t want it  
I was able to withdraw BTC from bisq without password  
when I want quit there is no logout icon

is it some bug or bad installation?

Hm, I don’t know, first time I think that this happens.  
You could try renaming your data directory in ~/.local/share/Bisq and starting Bisq from scratch, that should create a new data directory and a new wallet. Then you can try setting up a password again.

problem resolved

my mistake  
bad password set

and probably using old bisquare version data in new bisq version
