# Testnet Transactions

I am new to bisq and i am trying to explore bisq working i wanted to know can we perform dummy transactions without using real funds if yes please help

I don’t think this is supported, but I assume there is a way to make this happen.  
Maybe it would be enough to just run a local Bitcoin Core node with a testnet argument and a port argument with a value of 8333 so Bisq will connect to it by default. Deleting the SPV chain file in settings would also probably be necessary here, but I am not sure if this would work.

Also there is a --bitcoinRegtestHost as far as I can see. I assume you can create a regtest node and use it with this.

We do not have a test net environment running (seed nodes). You can set it up yourself though.
