# Updating bisq

can someone tell me how to update bisq - do not get pop up with link - all i get is the warning you need to update??

Updating Bisq, even if the prompt to “download and verify” does not appear, means closing Bisq, downloading and verifying the latest version from bisq.network and then just start the install, letting it overwrite the previous version.
