# Waiting for Blockchain Confirmation?

I entered into a transaction to buy BTC, and for the last 20 minutes or so it says  
“Wait for Blockchain Confirmation”.

Is this normal? What should I do? How long should I wait?

It seems the “taker fee transaction” is unconfirmed. I am the taker. Why does this occur?

Standard Blockchain confirmation for BTC is 6 blocks, ie 60’.  
(That’s independent from Bisq).

You need to wait for the first confirmation until the trade goes into the next stage

You can check if the transaction was broadcasted with a block explorer. If it didn’t and you can’t find it on a block explorer then you are likely experiencing a bug,
