# Zelle becoming more restrictive starting April 2025

Chase notified that come April they will start restricting using Zelle for what I would call “non-friends and family” purposes - see attached. Probably will grow to all Zelle member-banks during 2025. I imagine through datamining they already have a list of sellers, so the transactions to the sellers will be stopped for the buyers ☹

I know there are reasons why PayPal is not a payment option for Bisq, but I hope Bisq could consider bringing PayPal back as an option given potential catastrophic Zelle failure come summer. May be other options could be brainstormed.

Bringing PayPayl as a payment option would have catastrophic consequences on the number of chargebacks and disputes 😅
