The disconcerting part isn’t that the message was generated on its own though, right? That is to be expected. The part that is of concern is that the message did not match what was really happening. So it makes one wonder if the team that is doing the work, is the team that controls messaging (or if that was a part of the exploit, trying to get people to upgrade to their version.)
