Are there any plans to add support for direct alt coin to fiat trades? Instead of having to go through btc.
Seems like this would be a game changer.
This was added in some of the previous releases for coins such as Litecoin and Dogecoin, as they are very similar to Bitcoin as software forks. It was possible to add one of those as a base currency instead of Bitcoin, however there was basically zero activity and there were costs on running seed nodes for these, so it was removed. This wouldn’t even be possible for some altcoins that don’t support multisig addresses and it would be a huge and unnecessary effort for others as we have seen.
There is no plans on bringing this back or expanding it, there is simply many complications and no real demand.
