Alternative bank account

I have a purchase where the bank says the IBAN is invalid because it’s on a list with them, with banks they don’t work with. The seller has offered me that I can transfer the money from another account. Is this possible? What happens in case of dispute? I can then prove that I transferred the money, but not from the deposited account (but from an account with the same name).

I would open up a dispute: Select pending trade and click: ‘Ctrl + o’ or ‘alt + o’ or ‘cmd + o’

If the seller, mediator and yourself are happy with using another account this is fine.
