On setup screen, it asks for a backup location: anything suggested for Win7? Also says wallet is not encrypted–seems like a warning. If it’s better, how can I encrypt it?
Application data directory: should I click on the open directory dialog box? Same question for the open logfile dialog box. Please explain.
You should set the backup location to anywhere you will remember to recover it in the future if something goes wrong, this is a personal choice. As for the wallet, you should be able to find the password options for your wallet in the top right of the app where it says “Accounts”.
You can leave any values for the application data directory or log file as default.
In Windows 7 application directory that contains the log file should be by default at C:\Documents and Settings\username\AppData\Roaming\Bisq
