I wish I had read this before I accepted an offer to buy via cash deposit to Bank of America. I can confirm that they will not accept third party cash deposits. Another trade going to arbitration…
Is there a warning when creating an offer that instructs the user to check if their bank actually allows the payment method?

Thanks Manfred! Will that warning just be for the maker, or also for the taker? Just in case the maker didn’t actually check, I think it would be good to warn the taker also.

FYI: I was finally able to make the deposit at Bank of America by depositing a money order instead of cash, which the seller agreed to.
