Bisq 2 not connecting in Ubuntu

Hello!

I installed Bisq 2 on Ubuntu and the software starts. After starting, there are no available orders and the connection bar (bottom left corner) says “requesting network data” and shows 0 connections with a target of 10. I left it on for a long time but it always shows the same.
Bisq 1 is working nicely.
Is there something to be done about this?

Best regards

You can try to remove tor folder, which is at Data directory - Bisq Wiki but make sure it’s the Bisq2 folder and not Bisq folder.

I’m not sure this works, let us know as maybe you need to do something else.

Hello, thank you for the quick reply! I deleted the tor folder on the bisq2 directory ( …/.local/share/Bisq2/ ) and restarted the Bisq2. It recreated the tor folder, and the behaviour stayed the same.

Thank you! It solved the problem!
I should add that there was no tor_peer_group_store.protobuf file in the settings folder, so instead of substituting I only copied and pasted the provided file in the github thread.

Kind regards
