Bisq trade stuck before payment stage despite confirmed deposit transaction

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for advice on a trade that appears to be stuck.

Details:

  • Bisq version: 1.10.0
  • Market: BTC/GBP (Faster Payments)
  • I am the BTC buyer (maker)

Issue:

  • Deposit transaction confirmed on-chain shortly after broadcast and now has 50+ confirmations.
  • My Bisq client remains stuck on “Wait for blockchain confirmation”.
  • The seller’s Bisq client remains stuck on “Wait until payment has started”.
  • Both of us can communicate through trader chat.
  • Both of us have restarted Bisq multiple times.
  • Both of us appear fully synced to the Bitcoin network.
  • The deposit transaction, delayed payout transaction, maker fee transaction and taker fee transaction are all present in the trade details.

At the moment I have not sent the Faster Payment because the trade has never advanced to the payment stage.

Has anyone seen this before, and is there a safe way to recover or advance the trade state?

deposit is confirmed, so my suggestion is:

  • open trade details to see the seller’s payment details
  • send payment immediately
  • start a spv resync
  • click on payment started button
  • seller should be able to release the btc
