Bisq uses speaker on macOS

Something strange is happending: Once I start bisq (v 1.2.7 on macOS Catalina) I notice a very quiet noise exiting my speaker. I can only hear it if I turn up the volume all the way and listen carefully. But it is there. Anybody have an idea what this is about? Can anybody reproduce this?
I verified my download via PGP, also I checked if bisq tries to access camera or audio, but it does not.

Apple disabled options do avoid App Nap in recent OSX versions. Playing an inau…dible sound marks the application for preventing to get set to standby mode as well as App Nap mode. The alternative to that "hack" would be to add OSX native code, but even then it is likely only possible to prevent App Nap but not sleep mode. If Bisq is in App Nap mode offers cannot be taken as well the user loses network connection and offers. See: https://github.com/bisq-network/bisq/issues/1701

Playing a normally inaudible sound in the background should prevent the computer to go into standby mode.
