see under C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Roamng\Bisq2\bisq2.log as that should include some hints about what’s happening
I can’t find this file.

Bisq2 worked initially.
But after some update, it stopped working.
Searching for “log” in the Bisq2 folder:
logback-classic-1.2.13.jar
logback-core-1.2.13.jar
logging-interceptor-4.10.0.jar
logging.properties
Would be any of these?

Those are not logfiles, the log file is literally bisq.log and is located at the root of the data directory

I think this bisq.log file hasn’t been created because it doesn’t start running at all.
well that would mean the exe didn’t run at all,. because otherwise there would be even a minimal trace in the logs.
Is this Windows 11 maybe?
That’s correct: Windows 11.
And yes, it’s probably that the .exe didn’t run at all.
my suggestion is then to install virtualbox, install debian on it, and install bisq in virtualized debian
