BSQ - why cant you make this an ERC20 Token?

Correct me if im wrong, but wouldnt it be cool to make BSQ an ERC777 or ERC20 Token, so we can be able to trade it on the ETH blockchain?

Most importantly (since there is high volume trade on bisq with BSQ) to be able to sell BTC easily to BSQ and hence trade it for DAI and other ERC20 Tokens? This would serve like a bridge to the ETH blockchain.
Has anyone thought of this?
