It’s a violation of the trading protocol if bank transaction details such as name, account number, or any information specified in the Bisq payment account details do not match the details of the transaction that you actually receive through your bank.
In case of a mismatch, please open a dispute. Do not confirm the payment, because once you do, you’re acknowledging that you verified these details and cannot be helped in case of issues down the line (such as chargebacks).
