Hi,
I’m buying bitcoin and I’ve been waiting for at least one blockchain confirmation of the deposit transaction before I start the payment to the seller. It had been about 15+ hours now but BlockChain.info is still showing “Unable to decode output address”.
Never experienced this before. Can someone help?
Thanks.
In Bisq, BTC seller needs to lock his BTC in a multisig with the other trader and the arbitrator. I don’t think you need to use a blockchain explorer for that, to my knowledge Bisq client should take care of that, you should just follow it’s instructions.
Btw, blockchain explorer might not be able to understand a multisig transaction, they are maybe just not programmed for it.
Sorry, I don’t understand what you meant by “lock his BTC in a multisig with other trader and the arbitrator”.
What should I do at this point? Should I contact the seller? If I contact him/her, what should I tell him or her to do? I’m sure the seller is also eager to complete the trade like I do. Nobody wants to lose the security deposit.
Thanks.
