Don’t worry, your funds are safe.
Try deleting SPV chain file first in Settings and restart the app twice.
If that doesn’t work try using alt+e to open an emergency wallet tool.
What was the old version from which you upgraded?
I don’t know, but I just set up my bisq password on 1/10/18, so it was whatever version was available at that time.
I have tried deleting SPV chain file and restarting several times, but I still show 0 balance.
What about the emergency wallet tool? Can you not get your funds that way?
Don’t worry, you can always export your private keys by removing the wallet password, restarting the app and pressing alt+j.
I have shut down and restarted several times after deleting SPV chain with no results. BTC still shows as 0. I did alt+e and used seed words and date, but this didn’t work, either. How do I get access to my BTC? I certainly wish I had not updated to the latest version!!
Thanks for any help you can give.

As I said, it is nothing to worry about. You still have the private keys and as long as you know your seed words, you always will. It is just some problem with the Bisq wallet that you are having.
I think you can import those seed words directly into Electrum wallet.
You can also export the private keys, as I said, with alt+j, after removing the wallet password and restarting the app.
I don’t know how to find private keys with altj or what to do with them. I have my original seed words, but when I put them in, the ‘restore wallet’ button is greyed out and not active. How can I get my bitcoin back?
I suggest you install Electrum first. It should give you many options, including importing your private keys and entering your seed words. Placing your seed words in Electrum wallet should also recover your wallet.
