I see a lot of offers using uphold. How private and anonymous is this payment method. When I see endorsements from all kinds of mainstream news outlets I am immediately suspicous.
Hi Uphold is similar to other exchanges in that users are KYC’d. The difference mainly is that Uphold allows users to send and receive fiat funds from other users for free.
If you are using buying BTC on Bisq using Uphold, the BTC you receive from Bisq will not be KYC’d. All Uphold would know is that you send funds to another Uphold member.
Uphold also allows users to trade with just their email and phone number.
