Three questions about Bisq 2:
Question 1. How to add password on the BTC wallet?
Question 2. How to encrypt the BTC wallet?
Question 3. If somehow Bisq 2 is presently not able to both add a password on the BTC wallet and encrypt the BTC wallet, I’m assuming that, on each new Bisq 2 Profile creation, a new BTC wallet is automatically created. But within Bisq 2 graphical interface, somehow the BTC wallet is not displayed to the end-user. If my assumption is correct, my question is this, using Bisq 2, its BTC wallet(s) are stored in what format? I am guessing plain text within Bisq 2 configuration files?
Below is the same as above. But with details for those interested.
This present ticket is a follow-up to my other ticket at Does Bisq 2 includes a BTC wallet?
I am new to Bisq 2. I am familiar with Bisq 1. But not familiar with Bisq 2. I installed Bisq 2. Created a Profile. But have not yet done a trade. As you know, with Bisq 1, we are able to both add a password on the wallet and encrypt it.
I am a consultant who is presently reviewing Bisq 2 for a client. Who is considering using Bisq 2 and asked me to review it for my recommendation. One of the client’s minimum requirement is that, for stronger security, the Bisq 2 needs to be able to both add a password on the BTC wallet and encrypt the BTC wallet. So that in the unlikely event that the wallet is stolen by people with Evil behaviors, the wallet would be harder to abuse.
What I tried to find an answer to my questions up above:
• Searched https://bisq.community But found no answer.
• Searched https://bisq.wiki But found no answer.
• Using Bisq 2, searched both its user interface and built-in help. But found no answer.
• Using Bisq 2, created a new Profile. Then searched for its associated BTC wallet address and configuration. But found none.
