Hi there. I’m really struggling to understand how to ask support to mediate my trade. The seller is unresponsive and will not address the issue. I cannot follow the confusing instructions re: ‘join Discord’ etc. I just need a simple way to do this. Thank you.
where did you read “join discord”?
Traders are not required to reply in trader chat, unless it is a F2F or a CBM trade it is not needed to communicate since all the payment details are listed in the trade contract (open trade details popup by clicking on the trade id under Open Trades).
Mediation can be opened ahead of time pressing Ctrl-O from the trade panel, that should be done if it’s really needed, like if you are unable to make the payment for whatever reason outside of your control.
Thank you. There is a problem with the trader account info. I communicated it and they went on a rant. I can’t upload screenshots to show what Zelle is saying and they refuse to provide another account since this one is (per Zelle) not verified. As a new person, trying to figure out how to engage support is extremely confusing. I think I tried to join the Matrix chatroom some time ago, had to sign up for something else and couldn’t connect the dots. Def not ADHD friendly:-).

It’s kind of hidden on purpose, so traders don’t abuse of it, as opening mediation stops the regular trading process.
Your case is worth of opening mediation, so that’s good. But treat it carefully.
