How to restore from a backup

Hi there,

I changed computer and have a backup folder from June 2018 and I am trying to restore it on this new computer by using the seed words and the wallet creation date but it doesn’t work.

Any help would be great.

Hi,
I suggest that you launch Bisq from a CLI (Command Line Interface).
Type : Bisq --userDataDir=‘thePathToYourBackupFolder’
This should work.

What’s that “CLI (Command Line Interface)” ? How do I do that?

Not computer savvy.
