How to update the Bisq software on Mac

I recently accepted the option to instal a new version of the Bisq software on my Mac. I expected the download to contain a new version of the software in the usual .dmg package. I was surprised to find the following files had been downloaded:
Bisq-1.5.0.dmg
Bisq-1.5.0.dmg.asc
Bisq-1.5.0.dmg.asc.backup
Bisq-1.5.0.jar.txt

  • 7 other asc.backup files with hexadecimal names!

I have no idea what use these files have and what I am supposed to do with them. I would very much appreciate your advice.

The .asc files are used to verify integrity of the download.
The last Bisq version is now v1.5.1!
