I’m using windows 10, 64 bit, I downloaded the app but can’t open it. When I try to open it I’m automatically redirected to the app store. On the download page bisq says “or build it from source.”. Does anyone know how to do this?
I am not sure how you build Bisq from source on Windows, but on Linux it is pretty easy.
It is quite odd that you can’t open it. I haven’t used Windows in a long time, so I really don’t know what could be the problem. App store didn’t exist back then.
I am not sure that building from source would help, as it seems like your system is not allowing you to open simple executable files. Does this happen with other .exe files?
Have you considered switching to some Linux distribution, like Ubuntu? You really shouldn’t be dealing with money while using Windows.
