The wallet password I created is too short. I want to make a more complex and longer one. How to?

I guess you could try to remove it first.
Account -> Wallet Password -> Section: “Remove password protection for wallet” -> Type in your PWD
afterwards set your new password. I haven’t tried, but that’s how I would do it.
