As Twitter user flix1 posted we should look into instant SEPA payments.
Can anyone have a look into options? APIs would be great but I fear there will be some limitations we cannot fulfill…
I think that it is still not active

It seems to be planned only:

Start instant bank transfers in Europe! The delay of 24 H disappears. We will need to enable a new type of payment in Bisq: SEPA instantaneous, to identify the bank accounts that have this possibility.
Is there a list of banks which support it? What is the timeframe until all sepa banks support it (if there is any)?
EDIT: Ah after checking the link. Seems most banks support is very soon. Just Germany is a year delayed. But seems the list is not containing all SEPA countries and in some countries there are just a few banks.
But as soon it starts I will add a new payment method for it. Users need to know if their bank supports it or not.
Can anyone research the SEPA instant payments options in regard for Bisq?
- do they have the same mandatory fields like SEPA (iban, bic, name, country)
- Is BIC needed actually? ( i think some countries/banks still need it)
- Do you can send between normal SEPA and SEPA instant payment? I assume so but prob the duration is then like SEPA.
- If there is a service/database for IBAN - SEPA instant payment support we could automatically check if the bank is really supporting it already. Is there such a database?
- Any changes in chargeback policy in comparison to SEPA?
- Anything else?
As soon we have all information we can add it and make a new release.
These instant transfers will only be available next month in 8 SEPA countries. the rest of the countries should adhere by the end of 2018. I don’t foresee any changes to the user interface in banks as far as i’ve read.
All banks are also supposed to have APIs by the end of 2018.
Hey everyone,
if someone wants to do the research, here’s a good starting point:
