Is it possible to send XMR to bisq from xmr gui wallet?

Is it possible to send XMR to bisq from xmr gui wallet? If so how?

I’ve attempted to setup and new xmr altcoin account - it wanted and xmr address??? It was unclear if it wanted a sending address or a receiving address to an external xmr wallet???

Unable to find info in the faq for bisq?

Can anyone shed any light on this.

Is the xmr alt coin account on bisq just for sending the bought xmr through the bisq exchange to an external xmr wallet???

I replied in the other thread. But since this Q is SLIGHTLY different I’ll reply differently in here as well.

You don’t send XMR to Bisq, you send XMR to your trading partner directly, to the address that will be shown to you when you finalize the taking of a trade
