Your buy offer is now correctly listed on the order book. When you look under the Sell BTC order book you are essentially seeing your buy offer from the point of view of a seller. Obviously you can’t sell something to yourself, so bisq gives you the option to cancel the offer.
I didn’t get a timely response, so I canceled the request and paid the fee.
I hope you did not reinstate the offer, because I am not comfortable enough how the Maker process works, since there isn’t a good primer on how it works and what to expect.
I do not want to bit hit with another back out fee for not knowing what I am doing!
It’s normal to have doubts, even after some time placing offers it’s normal to be confused.
When you create a buy offer, to buy BTC, it will appear on the sell BTC side, because sellers will have to sell you this coins. Buy offers are displayed on seller’s side, and sell offers on the buyer’s side.
Reading all the fields and playing with “enter % value” will help you know what you’re doing.
