No mediator response since 21 September – Trade 04169 – payment already sent

Hi,

I’m looking for some advice regarding Trade ID 04169 on Bisq v1.10.8.

I am the BTC buyer (taker).

Trade details:

Trade date: 19 September 2026
BTC amount: 0.0070 BTC
Fiat amount: £441 GBP
Payment method: Faster Payments (UK)

Mediator: Suddenwhipvapor - I have sent messages in this dispute and it shows ‘message arrival confirmed by receiver’

I sent the £441 bank payment to the seller and clicked “Payment Started” in Bisq.

The trade subsequently required mediation, which I requested on 21 September.

I messaged the mediator on 21 September explaining that the payment had been made and that I have screenshots/proof of payment. I specifically asked how I could provide the screenshots.

I have not received a response from the mediator. I followed up again on 23 September, but as of 24 September at 16:39 UK time, I still haven’t received a reply.

The £441 has already been sent, so I’m concerned about leaving the trade unresolved without being able to provide my payment evidence.

Could someone please advise:

Is this waiting time normal for mediation?
How can I provide my proof-of-payment screenshots to the mediator?
Is there another appropriate way to contact/escalate this if the assigned mediator is unavailable?

I can provide the relevant transaction information and payment evidence privately if required.

this mediation was opened on 21st of september, the payout had already happened onchain, I explained this to both peers and closed the case, as the deposit address holds no more funds

there is nothing more for you to do, and by the time the dispute was opened, you had actually already spent the funds from that trade since the day before

if there is a trade still showing as open, even if it was completed and you received your payout, the first lucky chance is to do a SPV resync
in case the SPV resync doesn’t help:

  • make sure you have no other open trades under “portfolio > open trades”, and if not, wait until the ghost trade is the only one left
  • close bisq
  • go to the data directory ()Data directory - Bisq Wiki) and rename the file btc_mainnet/db/PendingTrades
  • start bisq
  • that trade should have disappeared, but it will also not show in history
