How many arbitrators exist at the moment? How are they chosen? Who are they?

That article is a year old, but I believe there are still only two arbitrators. Trade volumes don’t require any more at this point.
It’s still two arbitrators, and both are Manfred. I hope we’ll have more arbitrators soon (bisq launch?) not only because of trading volume, but specially in order to achieve more decentralization.
In the upcoming DAO paper there will be laid out the new arbitration model, which will be then fully open, decentralized and supports anonymity while being safe.
Though will need some time to get implemented, until that I am the only arbitrator (2 instances).
