Opening a default wallet app has failed

I have sent btc from another wallet to fund the wallet in bisq. A popup says “opening a default wallet app has failed. Perhaps you dont have one installed.”
There is one installed, and I can see the scan code.
My wallet says ‘successfully sent’, and Bisq says ‘no transactions yet’

What am I missing?

Did you check if your transaction has confirmations in a block explorer? If you’ve used the correct address it should show up in Bisq.
