Resyncing SPV After One Day on Bisq Not Working

I dowloaded Bisq yesterday and made 2 trades. Started up today and made 2 more. Trades stopped working, and a search of the innerwebs suggested I resync my SPV file. This has been going on for like an hour with no progress. Restarted and same problem. Can’t load up Bisq at all. Does this mean I lose all the BTC that I bought over the last 4 trades? Should I reinstall the program and import my keys or some such?

Am I correct that progress only happens when at least 4 bitcoin peers are connected?

Yes, you should get 4 bitcoin peers, if you’re not connected to your own node (recommended), which only requires 1.
What OS are you using? Keep trying: even if you never got to use this instance, having a backup which would retrieve the user data and wallet data up to the last status or the seed, which only retrieves funds, you don’t need to lose any funds; report this at matrix (bisq.chat) if trading period expires. With the metadata of the trade (like your onion address) mediators can get to know which is the mediation your peer has opened and help you to finish the trade with a manual payout.
But this is just in case, I think that you’ll be able to complete the trade by yourself by fixing the startup issue.
