Retreiving reserved funds

hi there,

i tried searching through the forum for this, apologies if it’s a duplicate, but i didn’t find anything that matched my case.

I haven’t used bisq in awhile and tried to start it the other day only to find that i couldn’t connect to the network with an error “no seed nodes available” - i had one existing trade request from a long time ago with a small amount of reserved funds. unfortunately since i wasn’t connecting to the network i couldn’t close the trade to get back the reserved funds.

i looked up some topics about this and removed tor files and restarted but still nothing. same with SPV files. it’s still not connecting and has been running for quite some time - best i’ve gotten is “(3 connected, 2 pending, 7 max)” but it seems i don’t get to the point of connection to even begin updating the network files.

i tried the emergency tool (ctrl + e) but the funds were not counted (as makes sense from what i read). I am hesitant to reinstall cause it seems like the offers will not be preserved.

The amount of reserved funds is relatively small, but now i’m feeling stubborn and want to solve it. Any ideas for how to achieve it?

Thanks for any help!

first of all update to 1.9.19 if you haven’t already.
Then, see Connecting to your own Bitcoin node - Bisq Wiki to try and fix btc connection.
If you don’t fix it by then, then also do a SPV resync
